Interviews at Peoples Light and Theatre
Interview with Pete Pryor
- How did you end up here at Peoples Light and Theater? I did several performances from the 90's on. Then I started doing the musical holiday pantos which we do here. Then Abby gave me the opportunity to direct one. I think it was a pretty great success. then after that i was asked to be a company member, and then i was asked to be interviewed for an associate director position which i share the position with Zak.
- What is your favorite show you that you directed or was in? My favorite show that I have acted in would have to be Not As Bad As They Seem, or Cinderella.
- What is your job here other than directing? According to my job description I have to direct, act, write, and do whatever assignment Abby gives me. I also teach acting.
- When you were younger did you ever see yourself working in a professional theater as well as teaching? I always saw myself acting on stage and on film but never teaching. I never thought I would be teaching because i always had bad grades in school.
- If you could describe this theater in 1 or 2 words what would you say? engaging, and civic.
