I'm Not Like You

I don't think like you do
But I feel the same as you
I may not show my pain
When you show pity or shame

I don't talk like you do
But I feel a lot inside
It hurts to be ignored...
And many times I've cried

I may not react like you do
But my feelings are still there
I often wish that others
Could be more Autism aware

I may not behave like you do
Being different is part of me
I wish others wouldn't judge
A disability that they can't see

I'm a person with Autism
And I strive hard to do my best
So please dont be judgemental
Because I'm different to the rest
